Camp Far west Lake was built in 1963. Camp Far West Lake is a 2,002-surface-acre lake with 29 miles of shoreline of rolling hills and many oak trees.

Our North Shore is open year-round, while the South Shore is open mid-May till September.

Our facilities include 2 launch ramps, 2 mini marts, and campsites with picnic tables, barbeques and full hook-ups along with a lot of open-area campsites.

Some activities include swimming, fishing, boating, water skiing, jetskiing, and have many trails for biking, hiking, and horseback riding.

There are minimarts at both locations with plenty of: bait, tackle, beer, soda, ice. Snacks and other goodies.
